About

Our Company

Founded in 2017 and headquartered in St. Joseph, Minnesota, Limnopro Aquatic Science, Inc. is a science-driven firm providing both professional lake management services and advanced biological laboratory analysis.

Our work operates in two primary divisions: applied lake management across Minnesota’s lake country, and specialized taxonomic laboratory services serving agencies, consultants, and researchers nationwide.

We provide comprehensive lake management planning, aquatic plant and AIS surveys, hydroacoustic mapping, nutrient budgeting, algae screening, and applied treatment strategies. Our laboratory accepts biological samples from across the United States for detailed taxonomic analysis of algae, zooplankton, and macroinvertebrates.

Our Approach

Limnopro was established with the belief that lake management should be grounded in scientific rigor, measurable objectives, and transparent communication. We work with lake associations, government agencies, tribes, nonprofit organizations, academic researchers, and shoreline property owners to design and implement solutions that are defensible, effective, and tailored to each project.

We emphasize:

  • Research-based decision making
  • Clear performance metrics
  • Technical accuracy
  • Long-term ecological understanding
  • Practical implementation
